Cat & Canine Comforts is owned and operated by us, Steve and Nancy Schwendeman. Although new to owning a business, we are no strangers to hard work and dedication. We have a love for family, friends, and pets and that is the inspiration for our store. We have chosen to start small, focusing on cat and dog supplies, so that we can give the proper friendly service to all our customers and make them feel welcome and special. When you enter the store, you will see right away that time and attention has been put forth to make shoppers feel comfortable. Cat & Canine Comforts has a little bit of a ‘Boutique” look but without the boutique prices. You will be able to find something for everyone in your family.  Cat & Canine Comforts is a long-time dream finally realized. Having owned pets all our lives, we wanted to have a store where we could share our joy with our family and others. Our pets are part of our family. We consider us as having five children, our daughters Grace and Gabrielle, along with our cats Boots and Roux and our dog Molly. Our girls like to say they have a sister Roux, a sister Molly and a brother Boots. Since the cats are a bit shy, they don’t go too many places with us, but Molly is always ready for a car ride. So come meet our family and introduce us to yours!
